Plot summary

Thirty-something Elizabeth must decide whether to salvage her disappointing relationship with Drew. Meanwhile, Bea, a worrisome teenager, reconnects with her introverted childhood friend, Andy, at their high school prom. Past and present collide as two couples explore love over the course of one night at a hotel.

A rather uneventful story

This film tells the story of a grown up couple and a teenage couple, who go through a night of rocky relationships in a hotel in Los Angeles. They try very hard to figure things out, and go through a plethora of thoughts and emotions."One Night" is a low budget film that consists of basically non stop talking. The pace is very slow, and there is not much else happening. It reminds me of single location films where characters just talk all the time without doing anything else, though "One Night" is not that extreme. The problem is that the dialogs are not really realistic. People don't talk that poetically on a daily basis. I honestly have never hears anyone use the word peons in daily conversation. To sum up, I find "One Night" rather uneventful and lacking in engagement.

Appalling

1 Night is a horrific display of predictable clichés delivered by a poorly cast and an entirely unconvincing ensemble of second rate actors. The real plot twist here is not in the movie itself, it's all the five star user reviews and ratings, who is writing all these overwhelmingly positive reviews? Do yourself a favor, don't bother.
