After hearing a couple of my work colleagues discussing this programme (neither of them enjoyed it and switched off), it piqued my interest. I must admit the first part of the documentary was a bit hard going but once I got over my own embarrassment, I found it quite informative and interesting. Yes it is slightly squeamish in parts and there is plenty of nudity. However it's only natural, everything they discuss happens to most of us women in our lifetime.
Plot summary
A bold, feminist film about how the vagina has shaped our view of the world and the shame around female sexuality. Women from 19 to 77 years old talk about puberty, menstruation, birth, motherhood, infertility, menopause, pleasure, sex, pain, trauma, gender, sexuality, cancer, rape and FGM.

Worth a watch
Quintessentially feminist, utterly self-absorbed.
More trivializing of what it means to be in the world. Why not a film about genitalia, generally? Because this has nothing to do with being human; only to do with a subsection of humanity, of people.
It's a shame how feminism has devolved into mere, special interest politics.
Group Therapy Session for the Disturbed
This is basically a compilation of talk therapy tales from and for emotionally disturbed by the concept of being female. Being female is not something you need to fear, dread or loathe. Yet I suppose if you like who you are you wouldn't need therapy. Dpn't bother watching, just like yourself.
