Plot summary

Workaholic lawyer Lucy Miller is celebrating her promotion alone on Christmas Eve when a mysterious rideshare experience transports her back to 1999. Reliving the holiday with her mom, sister and best friend - not to mention her high school crush - Lucy gets a second chance to understand where her relationships went wrong. Will this magical journey help her rewrite her future or leave her destined to be alone?

Loved the Ending!

Starts out slow, gains momentum late - stick with it!

"Next Stop, Christmas", "Christmas at the Plaza" and "A Biltmore Christmas" are my three favourite Hallmark Christmas time travel movies."A 90's Christmas" - despite it's Joshua Jackson, Lou Bega, Palm Pilot and Y2K references - isn't quite on the same level as that trio, but it's a fun film that admittedly takes a little while to get going. The finale is worth the wait.Eva Bourne is great as workaholic, friendless but professionally successful lawyer Lucy. She is given a chance by a mysterious ride share driver Grace (Katherine Barrell) to go back to her home town of Milwaukee for Christmas 1999 to right some wrongs.There are some fun moments and some poignant ones, and the montage right near the end of the movie - no spoilers here! - was touchingly done.Glad I stuck with this one, despite an uneven first fifteen or twenty minutes.

Who shot the Billiards shots?

As a house pro at our local poolroom, I tried to find out who actually shot the pool shots, thinking I might know them, but I can't find any reference to them. Could've just been hand models, both male and female, but the film looked halfway believable, unlike many pool shots in movies.I enjoyed the movie. Don't we all wish we could go back and fix certain things? The females were cute and believable, and the guy really aged well. One thing I don't like in casting is the mom is blonde and the daughters are dark haired. It happens all the time. Yes, the mom might be dyed, but it just doesn't look cohesive. But that's just my own OCD pet peeve. Very enjoyable movie.
