Plot summary

Benjamin and Aude have loved each other for 7 years. They live together on a small island in Brittany. Benjamin dreams of starting a family but the couple learns that Aude is sterile. So Benjamin has an idea. He is the one who will bear their child because before being Benjamin, his name was Sarah.

ambiguous feelings

After final credits, the ambiguous feeling about this obvious beautiful film. I love the great work of Noemie Merlant and the courage to drive a so delicate theme and the result.I appreciate the storztelling, especially the flashbacks.I was seduced by the dialogues between Benjamin and the old people, small, so significant stories crafted by memories and fair deffinitions of love.I preserve as precious gift the scenes of soap baloons.And, yes, indeed, I becomes, scene by scenes, one of admirers of Noemie Merlant.But, for theme, for ambiguity, for hard yty to offer a realistic story, inspired by real fact, for, no doubts, my circle of prejudices, I feel it very strange and far and too provocative this film.
