Ok, so the movie is 5 stories and seems to be centered on trust between people. That is not an excuse to break MY trust that if I watch it till the end the stories will make sense.
Not only do the stories remain totally unrelated (so, really 5 short movies with random jumps between them), but in at least 3 of them the audience never finds out what the story IS. We get hints, but left in the dark both about the characters's past and background, and about their future. There is a lot of Atmosphere, but not a lot of plot.
This is not a movie - it is 5 separate impressionistic paintings, in movie form.
Be warned.

Movie Reviews
I trusted the movie to make sense, and it mostly doesn't
a brilliant thought-provoking work
This film asks a question, which, if you like nuance and complexity and surprise, will keep you engaged, and it comes down to: what is trust? What is trust betrayed? In different configurations, at different times: what might we owe one another?
The director commissioned writers to each write a story on the subject of trust: one is a harrowing story about immigration and deportation: one story is a sex comedy where an affair is trying to happen, but it keeps getting interrupted (perhaps on purpose!) ; one story is about a bullied gay teen and a teacher; one is about a parent and a child, where we can't tell who is rescuing whom.
There's suspense, because each time you leave a story, you wonder where it will pick up. But suspense isn't the driver; what drives this film is you, as an audience member, being asked to actively put the pieces together.
While this film isn't for people who prefer formula or genre, if you're up for storytelling that's more literary, and more formally inventive, and asks for you to think and participate, here's the film for you.
Waste of time
Do we really know each other? That is the question hidden in this extremely poorly produced film. It is one of the worst recent Danish films I have seen with an otherwise prominent team of talented actors who nevertheless do their best to see the film to the end. To the end?? Which end? Nothing connects. No stories are connected. It's like watching 4 movies in one. In other films of that type, the individual destinies are linked.
We see the man having an affair and the curious hostess who nags so hard. It was endlessly boring except that Jakob Cedergren and Ellaha Lack who were in the affair did it honorably. Ellaha Lack also has a fantastic radiance and played well along the way.
The excellent Morten Hee Andersen had to fight his way through a hopeless role with a bleak past we never get the answer to. His girlfriend is pregnant and finds a hot dog cart out in the woods. It makes no sense. Is she dreaming? It was out of place and absolutely cheesy. One thing is certain, it is not Morten's fault that the film is miserable.
Please do not make such a terrible movie ever again. Waste of time.
