Seriously-all the characters except the best friend-are unlikable, especially our protagonist. I really don't care what happens to her. Typical I'm always right, I'm super special blah blah blah.

The detective looks like she's trying out for the lead role in another Lifetime movie, like she'll go home to her super fancy a lifetime movie house, drink the obligatory wine, sleep with a guy she just met then get stalked herself.

"A Professor's Vengeance" had all of the elements of a decent, formulaic revenge saga.

The much abused victim and heroine is Nicole Atkins, who was nicely performed by Lindsey Dresbach. Nicole has her bestie Zoe, who is her rock of support. She has a new boyfriend in Brandon, who is who is quirky enough to raise suspicions about his character. There is the apparent villain, a nefarious creative writing teacher named Daniel Hudson. There is the long-suffering wife Valerie. And, of course, there is the completely ineffectual police detective in the figure of Det. Kate Larson.

While there was a decent plot twist towards the end (the astute viewer may learn something new about "Special K"), the film was a by-the-numbers thriller without much suspense. Nicole had some skills as a creative writer. But, if she is going to produce a bestseller, she will need to draw on more imaginative dramatic stuff than the material in this workmanlike film.

What a great thriller! One of the best suspense movies I've seen on lifetime. From the moment this movie started, I was engrossed with the plot. The plot was suspenseful, and I found myself on the edge of my seat, wondering, "who did it?!" Along with an excellent plot, the actor's performances were extremely impressive. I think we can expect great things from this group of young actors (especially Professor Hudson, what a stud!).
