Not convincing

In these kinds of movies(Hallmark under 2 million dollars budget, shot in 30 days), the lead actors will make or break the movie and in this case,, it's not great.I don't know who's idea it was to resurrect Caprice Bourret as the femme fatal in 2024 but it wasn't a genius idea as she can barely act.As to Brook Burfitt, I have seen her do a lot better in other movies (A jar full of Christmas, Finding love in Saint Lucia).In this movie, she acts like if everything happening is a surprise.Perhaps it was the director's vision,, but being a 40 year old women drinking white wine, it shouldn't be a surprise to you that you are not supposed to put ice cubes in you wine.The two male leads do what they are supposed to do in the movie by being eye-candy for the ladies and being in need of her help to realize how wrong their ways are (Classic Hallmark).There is a movie here. There is actually an original story (won't spoil it), but it is poorly executed.As to the quality of the cinematography,, it's top class for its budget and genre.I gave it a 3 stars but could have easily given it a 7 stars (in its genre) if the acting was better and Caprice Bourret was replaced with another actress.
