Plot summary

Emma needs to prove herself to her boss Jenna, of Jenna’s Journeys – the famous series of travel books. But when she butts heads with the mayor’s son Riley on a mission to scout out a town called Love, she decides to impersonate Jenna to teach him a lesson. On a mission to debunk the myths of the town for a place in Jenna’s new book, can Emma find love in a town called Love?

Could have been better, could not be worse

Another reviewer wrote that the movie suffered from poor writing. I think the story while a recycled overused plot, was not bad. The problem is the acting. Every actor in this movie, excepting Marnie Mahannah, needs acting lessons. Emma Johnson as the leading lady is simply awful and had no business in a starring role. A few years as an extra is where she belongs. The leading man Marshall Williams - ditto. Whoever did casting needs to stop hiring friends and family because these people cannot carry a line to save their lives. The setting is beautiful. The director did what he could with wooden performers. The soundtrack is horrendous. Credit to the writers because it had potential just really really bad execution.

Disappointing

I expected at least passable from this Reel One Entertainment TV movie but sadly, it's just one big disappontment. It's just sad as technically is mostly fine. Probably only semi-serious issues are fake location, and music is so-so but are still passable.I like Marshall Williams as he almost always plays average normie white guy. I never watched him where he acted outright bad, and even when he wasn't his best, it's was bad writing. Emma Johnson is fine, but as I typed in one of my previous reviews, Marnie Mahannah deserves to get a lead role. She's the best supporting actress by far employed by ROE.What killed this movie for me is a bad writing. The biggest issue is mistaken for special guest trope which was done in totally unbelievable way. If only Riley checked on internet from the start... And let me not start how Riley treated Emma, but somehow their bad relation evolved into romance. Also, Emma Johnson played Emma...Just watch trailer to save your valuable free time as this is ROE and their trailers always show whole movie compressed. You won't miss anything.

Great Show but NO MUSIC CREDIT TO AMAZING SONG

Absolutely beautiful closing song as the credits roll... but no reference to who sings it or what this song is. Not on Shazam, Google won't help, lyrics search, nope...AI... Nothing absolutely beautiful song. Who sings it and what is that song!!!The movie itself it's great... I don't know why people have to be so critical. It's just a cute romantic show and a great escape movie... I like how it's different than the traditional movies that had to do with a prince in a castle, a baking competition, or a girl that returns to her hometown to find her old boyfriend The location is also beautiful. Great show.
