Plot summary

A heartwarming tale about young Izzy who is not happy about having to move from the big city to the country when her family takes over an old farm. Things change for Izzy when she finds a small white pony named Snowflake and becomes convinced that the horse is a real unicorn.

Boring and unrealistic

I was with my nieces and they are aged 7 and 9. I saw the title and thought oh good kids movie I'll watch it with them. We were in about 30 minutes in and the oldest one said oh please this is a dumb movie. Let's watch something else but I wanted to give it a chance to get better so I said let's just watch a little bit more and after a while, youngest one said no no I don't wanna watch this anymore. It's dumb. I hate that girl Izzy's hair. Nobody wears their hair like that. It's the ugliest hair I've seen ever, and no one talks like she does. They both said - its so boring- Actually for myself whoever did the hair for this movie did a terrible job. Everybody looks like they have dirty hair and it can't hold a style. It is a poorly written story. It's definitely unbelievable and I can't recommend the acting. It is sad watching Ed Marinaro in this movie, makes one think of a dirty old man... and that's out of the mouth of the oldest one, so we turned it off. We never did finish watching it. It's not some thing I would recommend due to the reaction of my nieces and it's certainly wasn't some thing I wanted to continue sitting through any longer so we did turn it off.

C Grade in everyway

The script is awful and the acting is bad. The kids are much better actors than any of the adults but it's still just awful.And what's with the ridiculous scarves Max keeps wearing around like a curtain?Kids under 12 will put up with it - but for parents it's as much fun as having gastro on a plane.The script is awful and the acting is bad.
