fittingly messy

Emma (Laysla De Oliveira) encounters former high school classmate Drew (Giacomo Gianniotti) at a bar. He barely remembers her. They flirt. They confess to be both in committed relationships. Despite that, they heat up their new connection.It is a slow moving dark romance. I like the complicated nature of these relationships. Neither of them come off looking good. It is messy like in real life. The confrontations are the most compelling scenes whether it's the two fights or the baseball game. The forbidden romance is actually less interesting. The ending is a little anti-climatic after the big fight.

It's not a movie. It's real life!

A romantic drama, which is so real.

It's touching me so much, because I experienced exactly the same situation in my late 30's... It was my life most beautiful and hardest time.

The ending was quite the same in real life, as in this movie.

10 stars!
