Yawn...

Right, well I am not familiar with the Manga, the television show, nor the movie that this movie is spawned from. So how true the movie was to the source material, I have no idea.

Needless to say that I had not heard about "Akihabara@Deep" prior to sitting down to watch it here in 2023. I stumbled upon it by random luck, and seeing it was a Japanese movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give the movie a go.

And I made it 30 minutes into the ordeal, then I just tossed the towel in the ring, out of sheer and utter boredom. There was absolutely no appeal from the storyline or characters in the movie, so it was a massive struggle to sit through and suffer through this movie. Hence, I gave up on the ordeal. And believe you me, I am not returning to attempt finish watching the remaining 90 minutes that is left.

I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie. However, given the unfathomably bland and unappealing character gallery, then I can't say that I cared one bit about any of the characters.

I failed to see any entertainment value in writers Ira Ishida, Takashi Minamoto and Hajime Narita's movie. I guess you have to be Japanese to enjoy something like this.

My rating of director Takashi Minamoto's 2006 movie "Akihabara@Deep" lands on a two out of ten stars. The movie is worth a single star, but the production value of the movie does manage to raise it to a final score of two stars.
