A Powerful Tribute, Story of Bravery and Resilience.

Violence is not an answer to anything!!!This movie attempts to depict the 2002 Akshardham Temple attack, it brings to life the bravery of the security forces and the resilience of the community. The performances, including Akshaye Khanna's, are convincing and the film's attention to realistic action sequences is noteworthy. The background score complements the tone of the film well. Director Ken Ghosh has done a great job of balancing facts and action. However, it lacks the emotional depth and nuance required to truly convey the impact of such a tragic event. As someone with a connection to Ahmedabad, I felt that the movie could have benefited from a more thoughtful exploration of the human experience during such times. The attackers were identified and some were sentenced. However, in May 2014, the ISC acquitted all six persons, including those who had been sentenced to death.

Black Cat Bravery: Raw Action, Real Heart

Akshardham: Operation Vajra Shakti on Prime storms the TV screen with raw intensity, loosely rooted in the 2002 Lashkar-e-Taiba temple siege... dramatizing NSG's real Operation Vajra Shakti with authentic military tactics and fictional heroics. This movie previously released 4 years ago on Zee5 as "State of Siege: Temple Attack".The re-release revives India's counter-terror legacy amid global threats, a timely tribute pulsing with emotional resonance. Akshaye Khanna's Major Hanut Singh is a haunted dynamo, his steely resolve and inner turmoil anchoring a crackling narrative of covert ops and hostage stakes. Gautam Rode and Vivek Dahiya shine as loyal commandos, their camaraderie fueling breathless action- sniper duels and CQB that hit like a monsoon.Ken Ghosh's direction, paired with Aseem Mishra's gritty visuals, crafts a visceral battlefield, while Siddharth Mahadevan's score thumps with restrained patriotism. The screenplay blends emotion and adrenaline seamlessly, outshining most patriotic thrillers. Only a late detour into Bollywood tropes (overdone drama in the final stretch) slightly softens the edge but that's a minor quibble. At 7.5/10, it's a lean, mean siege saga that demands your pulse... unsung heroes deserve this roar.
