What I liked about the movie: They went into the depths of abuse. They showed how its built, how it shows much before it turns into physical violence. They took their time to build and make the characters stand out. The actors, I thought, were brilliant.

They really explored how the victim of domestic abuse feels, what keeps them going through it. The scene where she cleans her house, when she doesn't know what to do and when she's starting to just build herself back up was absolutely heart wrenching.

I was also very happy to see that although the character Prabhu helped Ammu, the whole trap was directed by her. She was not rescued by him. She still rescued herself.

I'm so proud to see movies like this come out of the industry. It handled a social subject, but still managed to keep me invested in the movie throughout. And as many might think - domestic abuse is not a subject of the past. It's as prevalent now if not more - and not just in India, but worldwide. So, I really appreciate a movie like this.

My only frustration in this movie was - everyone wouldn't find a Prabhu. Would've been nicer to see a bit more leadership from Satya and Linny also.

A very subtle and intelligent take on an abusive woman's relation and journey. Great performances, great screenplay and is always a relevant subject. Loved the movie and would recommend everyone to watch. Movies like this should be made more often as it's always not about entertainment, it's about relevance. And it lived up to that mark.

Men or women, narcissistic behavior is never acceptable and this movie will be a slap on the face of every person who behaves like one behind closed doors. Hope atleast one woman gets some courage to get out of a failed abusive marriage after watching this movie.

A different movie. All the actors justified their roles and neatly acted. Kudos to the director for bringing such a social movie. The cop acted well. The heroine, Aishwarya Lakshmi, also justified her role. Bobby Simha as we all know, is a good actor, has also acted well. At times, we feel, the film is slow in some parts.

When she tells her mother Mala Parvathy about the abuse, she tells her to adjust, telling she also faced abuses from her father, which could not be digested. I could not understand the dialogues between her and the beggar. Why that scene is required. Instead, she could have narrated her problems with the lady cop or her other friend. Otherwise, it is a good movie to watch with family. It's an emotional movie.
