Raw and honest story of a torn person

I didn´t knew anything of Haftbefehl before - neither his music nor his character.But this doku is one of a kind! I love the brutal honesty and showing the unvanished truth of life. Respect to Aykut for showing his raw and vulnarable self and for the directors to find a perfect and respectful mix between his successful carreer and the abysses of addiction and a destroyed childhoof. I deeply felt his pain and was pleasently surprised by this film. A really good and emotional biography - whether you know/like his music or not.

Baba Haft

A brutally honest but also sad documentary about a great artist and wonderful person who had a decisive influence on the German rap scene. You don't necessarily have to be a fan of his music, let alone German, to watch this documentary, because it's really about how a man from the gutter, with traumatic experiences during his childhood, tries to master his life as a rap star with all its obstacles. His inner demons catch up with him again and again and drive him almost insane.Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but giving up is out of the question. The boss of all bosses - Baba Haft!
