This is a home invasion movie with a twist. It's like Home Alone on crack. It's brutal and bloody and I really enjoyed it.

Gory and farfetched, but never dull.
Maillet & James
At almost 7 feet tall, grizzled bad guy Robert Maillet is the least scariest person in this film. They gave him a heart and even some dialog to boot. I've seen him in a million things and I'm glad he finally got a part with a little meat to it.
Kevin James is the bad guy here, and he surprisingly pulls it off. I will never look at him the same again.
It's not going to win any awards, but I liked it.
Lulu Wick
Becky (Lulu Wilson) is moody from the death of her mother and bitter over her father (Joel McHale) bringing his girlfriend Kayla (Amanda Brugel) and her son Ty to an isolated retreat. Their vacation is interrupted by a group of neo-Nazi escaped convicts led by Dominick (Kevin James).
I'm neither shocked nor enamored with Kevin James playing a Nazi. He's ok. The movie rests on the young shoulders of Lulu Wilson. She seems to be a very capable little actress. The only thing is that she stabs people and it's not that easy to stab people. It's a bit unrealistic for her age. This movie has a lot of unrealism but also feels rather standard despite the eyeball thing. It's John Wick with a little girl.
