As a fan of the western genre, this was a light hearted movie. For all the critics, you must remember the clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns
Were highly criticized in its day, low budget with a blend of over the top plot and some wit.
Not as silly as they call me trinity, but closer to blazing saddles. I would suggest the next movie
Include some back story, like flashbacks on the Waco kids title reign and how Dutch learned to handle those colts so well. I would also suggest a love interest for one or even both of the guys, say hooking up with sisters. Imagine the fun.
Thanks again guys, a pleasant movie.

Watchable, but...
While I am not overly a big fan of Western movies in general, I do sit down every now and again to watch one or two. And as I hadn't heard about this 2023 Western from writer and director Christopher Sheffield, as I happened to stumble upon it by random chance, I opted to give the movie a view, as I found the cover interesting.
I didn't know what I was in for, as I hadn't heard about it, nor seen any trailer or read anything about it. So writer and director Christopher Sheffield had every opportunity to entertain and bedazzle me with "Bite the Dust".
The script for "Bite the Dust", as written by Christopher Sheffield, was pretty straightforward, and left very little room for surprises or twists to the plot and storyline. It made for a watchable enough Western movie, albeit a rather generic one at that. It is a rather slow paced narrative, which makes it a somewhat prolonged experience sitting through the movie, as it doesn't have much excitement going on.
Now, I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list in "Bite the Dust", but they performed quite well and brought their characters to life on the screen in an enjoyable manner. And the character gallery in the movie was actually fair enough.
The music score in the movie was rather unfitting for a Western movie, and that sort of killed the mood and the atmosphere that director Christopher Sheffield was trying to establish and set up throughout the course of the movie. The music was just simply too modern and electronic to be suitable for a Western movie.
Watchable, for sure, but "Bite the Dust" was hardly a memorable or outstanding Western movie. But I am sure that die hard Western fans will find more enjoyment in the movie than I did as a casual viewer.
My rating of "Bite the Dust" lands on a four out of ten stars.
Don't believe the 10-star reviews
Sorry, but clearly friends of the producer or actors (if you can call them that) have placed the 10-star reviews on this movie.
Save yourself wasting an hour and a half of your life.
This movie is is poorly filmed, poorly acted and in general a waste of oxygen.
Normally I don't take the time to mark-down a movie, but for the sake of saving other people from wasting their time and having to endure this; I am spending the time to write a review.
Sorry if the producer and actors feel this is a harsh review, but honestly how did it ever get released other than someone was desperate to recoup their investment; a bad investment either way.
