I-Hate-Every-Character

I tried watching this and by the 10 minute mark, I realized that I hated every character in it. Is this one of those films that "looked good on paper?" Because I'm guessing the script didn't include direction that indicated *very unlikeable* for every character in the story.I was really hoping to see Suki Waterhouse in a normal movie role, so this is a big bummer for me.I'm feeling like casting choices plus the directors "vision" is where this went wrong. Casting actors you just want to punch in the face isn't a good approach, but making them be c#@ts also, is a great way to kill your movie.

Ugh - except attractiveness

Jennifer Grey! Wow, she looks great! Yes, she's aged because time does progress, but she's super cute with her quirky character and great arms. The lead gal is cute and likeable for sure. It's the story that lacks. The will they/won't they becomes a bummer of a ??? I didn't regret watching it, but I wouldn't recommend it. Again, ugh - I wanted better.
