B movie explotation that makes it difficult to watch.

Sorry, was intrigued by what I read early on about this one---but It doesn't deliver the goods, but instead just takes on a dark kink aura with a propensity to showcase some (perceived), and also displayed graphic violence towards a female android/robot.Got brutal enough and graphic enough for me to barely finish but slogged through as it's thankfully a short enough run time. It's not thought provoking or interesting but has that uneasy "uneven dynamic" at times that you may have seen in some early exploitation horror films (ISOYG), say, from the 80s...that are just replacing the final girl/rape victim with a artifical intelligence. Seeing some of these positive reviews gives me little hope for fans of this sort of garbage. Even with the female lead actress, being a real person, it wasn't selling what it was offering to me, that's for sure. File next to "rape-y/beaten woman movie if the week"Sad that warped enough people exist to recommend this in a public forum. Trash gets trash.

The one redeeming factor of this ermmm 'film', is that you only need to watch the first 5 minutes to know what type of person you are?This is as far as you need to watch to know that it panders to those that get a kick out of not only controlling women, but hurting them in the process. And that's what it is, 'a process', devoid of any worthwhile human characteristic. The premise that the 'victim' is a 'robot' is the only thing that stops it being truly abhorrent. Or maybe that's what the makers of this production told themselves to justify the total waste of time (before lunch?), effort ( minimal) and money ($10) expended?

Low Budget but Fascinating

I went into this expecting nothing and it's obvious there was very little budget here. What there is though is a kind of conversation starter of a plot. Yes, it touches on brutality, human like dolls and very sensitive subject matter. Yes, it's loaded with nudity, but this is not anything like an adult movie. There are some very interesting ideas here, and I think the script was a good one. While I didn't love the lead actress in her role , I think it was a difficult role to begin with, to play, I thought Damian Maffei was excellent as was Mark Romeo. There are some difficult scenes to watch and one containing a razor blade had me squirming but the twist in the movie is shocking and genuinely has something to say about today's world. I believe the bad reviews are reviewing the subject matter and not the movie itself. The movie needed a larger budget, and the cinematography is poor. The script needed polishing, yet overall this was very good and worth a watch. If you think this is just a film about brutality, you are wrong. It raises so many more questions.
