The only two people who showed some common sense in this fiasco was the sister and the co-worker. I just can't believe how lazy or just possibly stupid these writers are think that viewers would miss some of the most glaring plot holes, goofs and just outrageous scenarios put before us. This should have been listed as a fantasy flick, because there was zero semblance to reality here. I actually fast forwarded plenty of the stupid, because I was face palming myself so often. I thought that I was in a boxing ring against a top 10 prize fighter getting my arse whooped.

Word to the wise, skip this, and I have no clue as to what movie was watched for that 10 rating.

The story started off terrifying. It is the story of how an abuser responds when he feels he has lost control of the abused. But then it got stupid.

I understand how her adrenaline was pumping hard after surviving being buried. But to track down her abuser, alone, to get her son that he had abducted, was dumb. She knew he was dangerous. He had already overpowered her and buried her alive. Why on earth would she think she would get the upper hand this time. She didn't even have a weapon. So I hope that if anyone watching this movie is a victim of abuse, do not follow this woman's example. Call 911. Call a friend. Call a loved one. Call someone for help.

I can't believe it! I'm not sure if we watched the same film. The acting was terrible! Abuse is a grave matter. Having witnessed a loved one endure an abusive relationship, I empathize deeply with anyone who has suffered similarly. Unfortunately, this portrayal was incredibly unrealistic. For instance, in the scene where she emerges from the ground and walks toward the man's truck, there's a person sitting on a tractor in the background, which is distracting. The actors' reactions were unconvincing. The sole reason I'm giving this one star is that it highlights the issue of abuse. Anyone experiencing abuse should contact the police immediately; they are equipped to manage such situations. Suggesting that involving the police is unwise could be perilous. In reality, the scenarios depicted in this movie would likely have had a much more tragic outcome.
