Sci-fi with failed science?

I started watching it not expecting too much from a title that seems like a B-class movie and had to give up literally after 2 minutes. Seriously, at one minute mark we hear the first words of the movie being spoken by a TV presenter labeled as medical correspondent, saying "Deaths continue to rise as the mutated viruses evade the use of traditional antibiotics". Come on guys, antibiotics by definition work on bacteria and not on viruses. It is not a rocket science level knowledge, it is literally taught in primary school, everyone knows that, except whoever wrote this script, apparently. I know I'm harsh but I will not waste my time on a supposed SCIENCE-fiction movie that fails at basic science. Unless someone took the fiction part of "Sci-Fi" quite literally or maybe the other genre description used for this title - dystopia, means that in the future even medical correspondents don't know basic science then jokes on me, but I personally bet on total ignorance of the screenwriter(s).

Likely to satisfy

Buying Time is a promising indie sci-fi thriller. It doesn't have the budget or polish of a AAA studio offering, but it makes up for that in ambition, ethical weight, performance, and pacing. If you enjoy sci-fi with moral dilemmas, dystopian futures, and films that make you think - even with some flaws - this film is likely to satisfy. It's especially recommended if you can go in without expecting perfection in visuals or every plot thread to be fully resolved.

D Grade Horse Shizzle

You might see a few glowing reviews here as I did, no idea how anyone could take those seriously after watching as much of this crap as I could. This is so far below the average low budget indie flick i've seen on TUBI, it's even worse than a 12 year old can produce on Youtube.I suggest looking for something else to watch.
