Plot summary

Sophie is a rising culinary star on the verge of becoming executive chef at a high-end Manhattan restaurant. But when her sister Abigail calls with news that their beloved family seafood spot in Montauk is floundering, Sophie returns home to help. What was meant to be a short visit turns into a journey of rediscovery, of her roots, her passion for cooking, and a surprising second chance at love with her teenage crush, Cam, a local fisherman whose quiet strength and charm leave Sophie rethinking everything she thought she wanted.

Tasty.

I can't think of a single Hallmark-produced Emilie Ullerup movie (or TV show; hello, "Chesapeake Shores") and "Catch of the Day" doesn't break that run. It helps that she is very easy on the eye, too."Catch of the Day" is a Montauk-set plot about Ullerup's Sophie returning to her small town and reconnecting with a teenage crush. Typical Hallmark fare, in other words, with a culinary twist.Michael Rady is a good love interest (I've seen him in a few other Hallmark movies, including "A New Year's Resolution) with Aimee Teegarden) for Ullerup the coastal scenery and food are both spectacular, which makes up for a plot that is predictable, though like so many other Hallmark movies, it isn't disqualifying in my eyes.

It seems like it, and you can tell right away, because of the cover picture. Might as well have a wheel of cheese, its always the same, grinning people pretending to love each other. Both am/dram actors at best, i guess quite often in your own small towns theatre group. But not always getting the roles because mary lou two doors down is just as good. And this call for a ginger actress lol.. i cant advise you not to watch this movie, but compare it to watching biege paint dry on an already biege wall. Save your life and go and do something else, you wont get the time back.
