Where do I begin? The story is ridiculous. I think the director skyped it in. Everyone over emoted. Not one of the performers is capable of acting. Not one believable character. Any first year film student could do better. A few ineffective jump scares were added. The camera work was basic and cinematography was less than basic.

I'm writing this review due to my annoyance of horrible movies being churned out like offals. I have no idea how some of these films were greenlit. The studios must be putting out garbage for write offs. 10 minutes in and I knew I was in for a bad viewing. People don't act like these people in real life.

This movie was not worth my effort.

As a whole you can do a lot worse than Chatter. I loved the two main characters chemistry considering they were always on video calls. Both characters have secrets they've kept from each other which plays well into guilt factors. The paranormal ramps up slowly while the director tries to give us some backstory on both characters. There are a couple twists, but was the paranormal brought on by the home or the guilt both shared over something they had done in their past? I would have liked more camera work on the 2 main characters outside of the video calls, it would have added some depth to the story and fleshed out the characters more. If you fancy paranormal films I think this is a decent one to watch!
