Ok, is it the worst thing ever? No, it's actually not badly written most of the time. Is it a 9 or 10 like some reviews are saying? Absolutely not. Some graphic stuff is good and to be fair for the obvious low budget, they accomplish a lot. Haven't seen the previous Cleaver movie, so judging this one on it's own merits. The daughter joining in on the 'cleaving' (is that a word?) was a nice touch. Plot holes? Yep. My biggest drawback is how terrible a lot of the acting was almost all the time. The sheriff (deputy at the start) pursuing Cleaver for five years -- her lines were ok, but how many times are you going to stand really close to a killer with a weapon and either trip and fall over, drop your weapon, look away when he's two feet from you, or flat out have the killer just get the drop on you? Seriously, at one point she literally has a gun pointed at Cleaver's head and he has the time to swing his cleaver at her in a wide arc and knock her back before she can just PULL THE TRIGGER?? C'mon. She also comes across a girl that can magically track Cleaver because he took her sister years ago. That's it? So everyone who's lost a loved one to a killer can just magically track that killer, huh? Not to mention she acts like a grizzled bounty hunter better at tracking than the seasoned Sheriff when she looks 25 at most and should be at the mall hanging out with her besties. Just a jarring disconnect between her look and her words/actions we get from her. That and she already knows where Cleaver is, and doesn't bother to tell the local Sheriff but waits to tell the visiting Sherrif about it instead, because??? Another girl gets a two inch diameter pipe rammed through her leg, then stands up later and is able to use it to hit a home run with Cleaver's head when there is zero chance she could put that kind of weight into the swing on one leg and with what should be a giant hole in the other leg. There were some decent ideas and elements in this movie, but some odd plot points and wonky acting really overshadowed them. Maybe the original was better? Left it wide open for a third film, so I expect that will grace the streaming world at some point in the future.

HEY EVERBODY ITS ME, (4) and today we review - my 6th year birthday party , the movie !!!! -

so here we have a 2019 killer clown release ... no not from space ..sorry .. this ones from ohio ? ... milwakee ? I dont know someplace with some grassy fields and abandoned towns / dirt roads .....now in the midsts of recent killer clown movies like "terrifier" and "circus of the dead" etc ..... its expected to see a upswing if the genre of clown flicks .... well i guess its not REALLY likes its gone away to begin with lol.... killer clown flicks have been around for a while now .... and in fact i just learned that THIS is a sequel ??? Ill be danged YUP sure is ... SO that means ill have to go watch the first one now ......

WELL just knowing this one for what it is and not seeing the other one ....

the acting ......hits and misses .....the cop lady ...wow ..... wow ....no ... im thinking she was the directors mom ....girlfriend .... something becuase no offence but jesus christ my morning cereal box acts better when im pouring a bowl of cap'n crunch .... AND she literally hands a (nurf) gun to a civilian to stay trained on a baddy ? ..lol... like ...your a terrible cop lady .... your going to be one of those youtube videos of why everyone says cops are bad ....lol.... the clown guy ...okay ...he has his good moments .... his design , personally i think might have been a bit over played , i mean the human face apron was covered up and you couldnt even see it really .....so what was the point ? ...seems a bit try hard then discarded .....a much simpler REALLY grimy clown suit would have been perfect ....nothing to clowny BUT something almost homemade looking .... but hey thats my opinion ....

very basic character development in the story line ...thats fine .... no one cares about the throwaways LOL .....

lighting was alright ..... the technical stuff was "okay" except the sound ....ugh ... as per usual sadly the indies DIE because of bad sound ...and when you have a scream that clips in the red ....it kills it .... the distortion zone (cue the bad 80's music).... but trust me i DO understand how hard it can be BUT ALSO the audio at times sounded like you were recording it INSIDE OF MY CEREAL BOX !!!!!!!!! I open it up .....start digging for my cap'n crunch space man decoder ring .....and next thing i know im getting yelled at by a D. P. to "shhhhhh quiet on set" ?????? My bad bro ......

oh and MAYBE stop walking straight down the trapped hallway if you know its trapped ...just sayin ....

so this one ... imma give it a 4/10 solely because its nothing really NEW .... and doesnt really throw anything out there special .... its a decent watch for lovers of the killer clown genre and does have its moments ....but if your not down wit tha clowns ...then you probably will pass.

The end of my night last night led me to discover that there was ANOTHER Cleaver movie. Its not quite the same as the first one, its less colors and more of a gritty style. It feel a lot like Leatherface movies.

The characters in this one were more interesting I think, and they were all very broken and devastating characters. The clown looks better this time and the little clown girl is REALLY creepy.

I loved it. More of these please.
