As enjoyable as the first movie...

The 2020 animated movie "Combat Wombat" was watchable, but ultimately somewhat mediocre. And thus I have to admit that this 2023 sequel was not a movie that I was in any particular hurry in order to get to watch. But I eventually found the time to do so here in 2025.Writer Dominic Morris put together a pretty straightforward script and storyline. It was fair enough for what it was, but I am sure that a much younger audience will far more enjoy this movie than I did.Well, the good news here is that if you enjoyed the 2020 "Combat Wombat" animated movie, then you will definitely also enjoy this 2023 sequel. If you didn't enjoy the 2020 animated movie, well...The art style and animation in the animated movie "Combat Wombat: Back 2 Back" is good. Vibrant and colorful, and nicely animated, which definitely helped sitting through 81 minutes of this all the more enjoyable.My rating of directors Ricard Cussó and Tania Vincent's 2023 animated movie "Combat Wombat: Back 2 Back" lands on a five out of ten stars.

The comedy carries this movie

Combat Wombat: Back 2 Back is the sequel to Combat Wombat. This time, the titular character has to go on an undercover mission while also taking care of a puggle and watching over a rebellious gecko.The animation isn't much better than the first movie's. What carries the film over is the comedy, which is surprisingly effective and in some ways better than the first movie's. The film also has a recurring moral of doing "wrong things for the right reasons", which it executes relatively well.A recommendation.

best movie to watch with your kids!

This morning in brisbane i had watched this movie with my daughter and her friends and let me tell you, this movie was spectacular! My daughter came out of the movie theatre grinning and giggling! By these facial expressions, i could tell it was a good movie! My daughter and her friends were eagerly talking about the plot and were quoting lines from it! Later that day, i had stumbled across their draft of another custom made movie! I have concluded that this movie will inspire your children to have great imaginations and will jumpstart your kids on a creative, imaginative journey! Overall, it is a 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND FROM A MOTHER OF ONE.
