Wow this was unfunny

I used to love Cristela. I watched her sitcom years ago and have watched every comedy special she's had since and found them pretty enjoyable/funny. This one was awful. I made it 35 min, a little over half way, and did not laugh a single time. I knew it was going to be bad when the first joke was about 'ice' and just went down hill from there. My grandfather immigrated from Mexico and did so LEGALLY through military service. When I'm watching a comedy show I want to laugh. I don't want to hear about your political leanings and how much you hate half your audience. It would have been nice to zone out, have a good laugh and forget all the craziness in the world for an hour. Instead just more divisiveness.

All the feelings

Please only review a show if you have watched the entire production. If you watch a few minutes and decide it is not for you, no problem, carry on but no need to review. I enjoyed this stand up very much. Cristela covers a lot of material and subjects in a short time. I felt all the feels and appreciated her sharing family history and funny stories. I feel like comedians are really killing it right now. We all need to laugh!
