Plot summary

An art horror anthology featuring 3 stories: "Adoratum Technica", a classical Pygmalion-inspired tale in which an Artist builds an AI, with tragic results; "The Sound of Her Voice", a dark psychodrama in which an young man finds that getting rid of his domineering mother is not so easy; and "Graybeard", a gothic fairy tale loosely based on the real-life case of child killer Albert Fish. Director Fatima Hye.

Got the ideas

I understood the ideas and the thought behind the 3 stories. I really liked them! The budget is noticable though. And the music very distracing.Some scenes went on too long, and some were explaining a little bit too much for my liking.The stories are dark and emotional. Even if I haven't been in those situations, I could feel myself emerced and understanding of the charcters.

Great cinematography and fun

Brilliant camera work throughout. Child acting direction done well even if the written character is weak.Love the blood used in the first AI segment even if unrealistic. Second segment takes extraordinary use of B&W. Over-saturation and wide shots are arguably overused in last segment but still beat.The plot, acting, shots, and suspense of the first segment was great but unfortunately felt a little underwhelming at times.The last segment was also a bit comparatively boring, even if the whole thing was nice to look at.I really did lose interest in the plot towards the end but ultimately ended the film satisfied. A fourth segment would have been nice but all three came together nicely regardless.
