A Tale of Vengeance

Dull and boring...

Despite of never even having heard about "Daemon Mind", from writer and director Jason Fite, as I stumbled upon it here in 2025, of course I had to watch it, given my love of all things horror. And the movie's cover and title certainly was alluring.The storyline was pretty straightforward, but there was a whole lot of the characters in the movie sitting around engaged in dialogue, and that sort of made the narrative a bit boring. I was not overly entertained or impressed with the script and storyline that writer Jason Fite pieced together.I was not familiar with any actresses or actors on the cast list, not even Acha Septriasa despite of me having watched a lot of Indonesian movies. The acting performances in "Daemon Mind" were fair, despite the fact that the script was bland and boring.Visually then the movie was actually quite fair, and that certainly counted for something."Daemon Mind" is not a movie that I would recommend to horror fans to rush out and get to watch. Nor is it a movie that will ever grace my screen a second time.My rating of writer and director Jason Fite's 2024 horror movie "Daemon Mind" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.
