Yup, just as I figured from the movie's cover, this was another movie from Maverick Entertainment. And just like that, my expectations to the movie went from slim to none.But color me surprised, as writer and director Jonathan Milton actually put together a wholesome and entertaining script. This was definitely one of the better movies from Maverick Entertainment, so it was nice to see a movie that wasn't the usual swing and a miss.I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which actually spoke in favor of the movie. The acting performances in the movie were fair, but nothing outstanding or memorable.The sound production in the movie was a joke and just downright terrible. In one scene, the sound of the spoken dialogue sounded like it was recorded over a phoneline. Another scene had the sound entirely vanish, and you could see people were speaking. It was just laughable and amateurish in production.Watchable for what it was, but hardly a movie that I would recommend you to go out and watch. Nor is it a movie that warrants more than a single viewing.My rating of writer and director Jonathan Milton's 2024 movie "Dangerous Affair" lands on a five out of ten stars.
