Classic David Spade!

This was pretty bad.

I'm a huge fan of Spade. Have been going to his shows since the early 90's. But unfortunately, this is another lousy special. It's clear he's not working out his material to perfect the jokes before hand. His stand up used to be situations he was in and he would embellish a little bit. He was great. Now these situations are ridiculous and you can tell that they sound phony and contrived. This special lacks actual jokes. It's ramblings about made up predicaments that he was allegedly in. I mean serious, we are supposed to believe you were haggling with a crazy guy over a chicken nugget. Really disappointing.

I laughed throughout the whole thing!

Just take a minute and watch it! At least the first few minutes - it's not his absolute best, but it isn't bad like other reviewers say!!! It's David Spade and if you watched him in movies, SNL, tv shows, etc., you need to give it a chance instead of reading negative comments and believing them. I haven't always loved Spade(I'm female and in my youth I was put off by his womanizing character in a show, but LOVE him and all his shenanigans now!!) so this comedy special was great and a little different which makes me love him so much more!! He's more down to earth and real - what a pleasant surprise!!
