It could've been better, but it's a good watch. Meagan Good is sexy as always. Lawrence Tate player his role good. The twist at the end is worth it.

Deuces surprised me considering there's not much they can do with a run of the mill plot such as this one. I will say there is some unnecessary filler in my opinion such as the romantic elements in which it could've done without. It's a crime movie, I couldn't care less about a soft core sex or romance scene, they could've implied it at that point because it was out of place and pointless. Other than that the overall acting was believable and genuine, everyone involved did a fantastic job, it felt like a real story. I liked the City of God reference (one of the best films ever made). I didn't expect how it all played it and I was satisfied with the ending. All in all, it was enjoyable. It's one of those movies I can only watch once after knowing how it ends. Cinematically it was nothing special, but it entertained me.

Deuces (Larenz Tate) is our protagonist bad guy. He murders, deals drugs, runs a bar and wants to get into commercial real estate. He also respects women. Jason Foster (Lance Gross) is the undercover cop who is tasked to infiltrate the group. . . and his sister (Meagan Good) is Deuces woman.

They opened the film with a nice Iron Butterfly cover and then they dumped on it by having someone rap over it. That set the tone for the whole film. The script wasn't worth making.
