Plot summary

Corny

I was enjoying this film until he got chopped up, but then became ridiculous when he got up again and was walking around as if nothing had happened to him, even the limp had disappeared that he had , so totally became stupid. Shame that happened as it would have been a decent horror. Never watched the 2023 version. Won't be watching if there is a remake as it totally spoiled the film.

Was it a necessary re-make...?

After having sat through the rather bland 2023 "Die'ced" movie, I have to admit that I harbored no expectations to the 2025 "Die'ced: Reloaded" movie. Yet, I still opted to watch it, solely because it was a horror movie that I hadn't already seen.And it was clear from the approximately 10 minute long intro sequence, that this 2025 was a major improvement upon the 2023 movie. So things were definitely looking hopeful for writer and director Jeremy Rudd's 2025 movie. Now, before I get carried away here, it turned out that "Die'ced: Reloaded" was a remake of the 2023 movie "Die'ced", but with additional scenes and better production.Something does come to mind, though, that the movie, both the 2023 and this 2025 re-make, were lacking in originality. I mean, a silent killer has been done so many, many times before. And there is a sort of "Terrorizer" rip-off vibe going on as well.There are several familiar faces on the cast list, returning from the previous movie, with the likes of Eden Campbell, Jason Brooks, Christine Rose Allen, Collin Fischer, Jon Meggison, Scott Mullet, Nigel Vonas and Esha More. The acting performances in the movie were good.The movie is rather visceral and gory, and that was something that certainly had an appeal to me, as a life-long gorehound. And the effects in the movie were good, which definitely helped add to the overall enjoyment of the movie.My rating of writer and director Jeremy Rudd's 2025 movie "Die'ced: Reloaded" lands on a five out of ten stars.
