They dropped the ball on this one...

Now, when I sat down to watch the 2024 horror movie "Dracula: The Count's Kin", from director Eric Pascarelli, I must admit that I wasn't exactly harboring any expectations, as the movie just permeated low budget effort. But since it was a horror movie that I had neither seen nor heard about, of course I opted to watch it, given my love of all things horror.So writers Mage Lanz and Eric Pascarelli put together a script and storyline that follows Count Dracula's sister. Yup, you read that right; his sister. Talk about a far-fetched swing and a miss.The one thing that spoke in favor of the movie was the fact that I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. While the script was rubbish, I will be fair and say that the acting performances were, for the most parts, actually fair enough. Sure, you're not in for anything grand here in terms of acting performances, but the majority of the performers acted adequately.Visually, then you're not in for anything outstanding.How this movie managed to snag a staggering 4.9 rating here on IMDb, as of this very moment of me writing this review, is simply beyond my comprehension, because this movie was rubbish.Should you enjoy horror movies and in particular Dracula-themed movies, do yourself a favor and don't waste 86 minutes on "Dracula: The Count's Kin".My rating of director Eric Pascarelli's 2024 movie "Dracula: The Count's Kin" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

Duped Three Time This Week!

The Plot:A century after his legendary death, Dracula's blood sister has emerged with her own nefarious plans. Will a newly minted private detective with a mysterious past put an end to these malevolent intentions?I streamed this because of the great 6.8 stars the movie gets here. But there were no written reviews. It's happened to me before. I didn't learn the lesson. This movie like the other two, is horrible. Clearly the reviews are by people who worked on the film.The look of the movie is very, very cheap. The budget must have been small, or wasted. The acting is literally non-existent. These are not real actors. The storyline is dumb, and this direction is juvenile.Don't get fooled like me.
