Plot summary

When his wife wants a divorce -- in preference of a romantic Frenchman -- husband Livio seemingly accepts. But when he sets up a last weekend together with his secretary and his wife's lover, the trip turns out to be part of an elaborate plan to win his wife back.

Duck in Orange Sauce

When the wife wants to leave her husband in preference of a romantic Frenchman, the husband seemingly does not raise difficulties and invites his rival, along with his own secretary, for a weekend. His real purpose is taking her wife back through an elaborate plan.Sometimes sophisticated, but more often farcical comedy based on a minor boulevard play. An undistinguished, ordinary entertainment that nevertheless is deftly acted and manages to amuse most of the time.
