Plot summary

Thud! Thud! Thud! The noise between rooms 401 and 501 has started! Eun Soo, an aspiring writer who is no different from a jobless person, begins to observe the owner of the house upstairs, questioning the noise between the floors that tormented her while searching for a subject for a contest. I agree with Miaharpr

And will add the stupidity and laziness of the writers where everyone who had dealing with the psychotic father could never run or fight back, what's with this crawling away BS when their injuries had nothing to do with their ability to walk upright.Her friend who was clubbed upside the head, comes to in the back of the van, finds the knife to free himself. Yet did not use the knife to defend himself when the deranged father had to get out of the van, walk around to the sliding door, before he could get to the much younger Je-song.And again crawling instead of fighting and staggering with a limp when his leg was not injured. Or the pastor when he shoved dude off the bed, immediately went to crawling for no reason.Weak, just plain weak and trifling, and this had potential had there been better writers involved.
