Oceans Eleven for Kids

I really like the adult cast. But this is about and for kids. Because of that adults are silly and kids win. NOT a movie for adults. Think Home Alone where a kid or kids win. Cute though.The students are in a school for bright kids that fight against the thought of getting a "F Plus" when they're used to all A"s. I apologize for going long, but this needs to be three hundred characters to be submitted.

A great film for sub teens

Having scored straight A's since birth, Ted Freeman (Wells Rappaport) has been mapping out his future for years, and he's convinced that even one screw up will send the whole thing careening into total chaos. Unfortunately, he discovers he's earned the lowest grade of his career on the biggest test of the year... an F plus. Luckily, Ted's got a friend named Josh Barker (James Williams Jr) - an expert prankster who'll go to any lengths for a laugh. Together, they hatch an impossible plan to sneak into school and swipe the tests before they can be processed in what's sure to be the greatest heist in middle school history.This is a dramedy with the emphasis on comedy. It's perfect for sub 13 year olds, I highly doubt many kids in the older age bracket would enjoy it as much. I didn't hate it, but obviously it's not my thing being a middle aged man, but I can easily see the attraction to younger kids. I wish there'd been films like this one around when I was that age.There's nothing overly controversial, nothing of an adult nature, and it did raise a smile even from me in certain parts. I give it a solid 5 rating but that's from middle aged me. If I had young kids who enjoyed it I'd probably give it more.

Cute family fun

Cute, clean movie the whole family can watch together. Fun plot twist and not overly complicated plot so kids can understand and parents can chuckle along. There's keven a fun plot twist I honestly did not expect. There's so few new movies for kids that aren't just a disappointing remake of a real classic or so baby tweens don't want to watch and parents end up on their phones instead of engaging as a family. This story is new, relatable with the story of friendship and desire to be the best at something while not talking down to the audience. Nice to see something new. For an indie film it's well acted and well shot!
