Real color footage of one of the most defining time in history. Much of the film is surprising..for example..Japanese soldiers with their backs turned as arriving occupation forces travel down a road. The US soldiers thought it was insulting when in fact the Japanese felt they were unworthy to face their conquers. There's much much more here to learn from. Well narrated and edited. So many scenes of places, events and people you may have read about but have never seen. In my opinion it should be required viewing in any high school or college history class. A sobering trip to the past, hauntingly real.
