My expectations haven't been met to be honest.

To start with, I didn't know it was a remake!!! Had I known, I would have probably watched the Danish original instead. What is the point of making the same movie over and over again? Dänemark, Sweden and now Germany? One should expect US version soon.The film let me rather disappointed, however it has a few good moments and some funny and also sad scenes. The highlight of the movie was probably the song 'Hero' which one of the characters sings to his wife, with a lot of emotions.For me it was difficult to have enough sympathy or empathy for the main character. A middle aged woman, still single, but instead of focusing on the future, she is wasting her time with the wrong men and besides men that are either married or taken! As if she had no respect for herself.I also didn't like the two women having babies together considering one of them didn't even want to have them!And lastly the idea of having COVID in the story was absolutely not necessary! I understand it was partly based on true events but it was not a good idea. It put me off completely. It didn't add anything to the story.5/10.
