I was intrigued

Ist of any comparison to any of the Paranormal Activities films is a insult to Foreclosure. Everyone of the Paranormal Activities films were just plain stupid no acting talents no writing made no sense no fun and definitely no scares. No back to this film Foreclosure was also a dud however it made a effort. But I found it to be cliche the two biggest b.s. That all films have 1) Wine Wine Wine nobody drinks milk at dinner or even water? Or the ladies get together instantly Wine Wine Wine. It's like they can only be happy or tolerated of each is if they're getting wasted. 2) Is for the films or TV shows whether scripted or reenacted that is the husband Riley the wife is always a no believer In any form of paranormal supernatural unknown things. So that we have to watch the wife/GF try and convince husband/BF not to commit them. Which just proves these people should never be together much less reproduce unwavering jackass way of thinking. 3) The real real I'm writing this is because Ned has really pissed me off. With his nonsense no understanding what is wife has. She's clearly has Agoraphobia. I myself suffer from it to the point I go days sometimes a week before I can even step outside. He should be so lucky at least his wife can make it to the garden.Thank You.

Seriously...?

I actually watched the 2024 sequel "Foreclosure 2" before I got the chance to watch this 2022 movie. And let me just be frank here and say that I did not enjoy the sequel one bit. So it was with no expectations that I sat down to watch the 2022 movie "Foreclosure" from writer David Wagner and director Brett Bentman here in 2025. So why watch it if I didn't enjoy the sequel? Simply because I believe in giving all movies a fair chance, especially if it is a movie that I haven't already seen. And that was the case with this movie.Writer David Wagner put together a rather slow paced and uneventful storyline and script, which made for a somewhat dull viewing experience. Yeah, the narrative in "Foreclosure" wasn't particularly interesting, nor entertaining.I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie, which was actually something that spoke overall in favor of the movie, as I enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances were a bit of a mixed bag of nuts; some performances were fair, while others were dubious."Foreclosure" was not a movie that made use of noteworthy special effects, so it didn't even have that working for it.This was by no means an outstanding movie, and I found it to be as dull and boring as the 2024 sequel "Foreclosure 2".My rating of director Brett Bentman's 2022 movie "Foreclosure" lands on a two out of ten stars.

ZZzzzz... ZZZZzzzzz.... ZZZzzzzzzz...

Imagine if someone took just the first 30 minutes of any PARANORMAL ACTIVITY movie and stretched it into an entire film. That is basically about all that amounts to a plot in this film and the pace at which it tells it. And at only an hour and 17 minutes you REALLY do feel every... single... minute... of it... slowly... passing...It is astounding how so little happening can even fill up that runtime and then have it feel twice as long than it actually is. It isn't helped that the film progresses with only two modes:1). Ambient spa music over a character quietly and slowly meandering around her house waiting for a jump scare, and 2). Two characters having a conversation while standing directly across from each other with no music or much of any background sounds at all.It is boring. Plodding. And listless.Nothing kinetic ever occurs, no physical conflicts, no physical interactions, no intimacy, no hurry to get somewhere, no running, no chasing, nothing with any real movement of any kind happens onscreen (aside from maybe a book someone tosses from off-camera).The only action or conflict comes from people describing events we never get to see. I.e. Oh someone was killed? There was a gun? People were in a car and actually driving somewhere? (that is all from the climax BTW, just two people talking/describing stuff never shown in-film).The few points of praise I'd give this is the look of the film is a huge improvement over the last thing I saw from this guy (some camgirl killer movie), so it gets points for the movie both looking and sounding professionally made. And the acting was largely just okay (save for the husband actor who seemed to be unfamiliar with general human behavior). But that's it. How they figured this deserved a sequel is confounding.===-=== -- MY RATING SCALE -- ===-=== 1. Reserved for Poorly Produced/Amateur Video2. Utterly Terrible3. Really Bad4. Mediocre5.
