I'm a French Canadian from Quebec City and I enjoyed this movie even if it was full of cliches from my own City. It's obviously full of stereotypes but still enjoyable. Sometimes you just have to sit back, relax and enjoy without judgment! If you are ready to do that, just go and watch it. I'm pretty sure you'll have a good time. And, if it makes you want to come to our beautiful Quebec City, please do. It's beautiful and indeed, Le Château Frontenac is a sight to behold ?! And apparently, it's haunted! You can get two ghosts for the price of one! And if it's true, " Who you going to call?" ? Ghostbusters! ?!

2024s Meet the parents
I really like Zach Braff. I really wanted to like this movie. It truly was a watered down, Canadian, 2024 version of Meet The Parents with none of the humor. Like zero. The tropes are all there though. The goofy, bumbling boyfriend trying to win over a family. The charming ex swooping in to prove the boyfriend even more moronic. There was one scene that I did actually laugh, it was involving a finger. That was it. The parents were forgettable. The brother was also but somewhat endearing. I would skip this and go back and watch Garden State again.
P. S. Zach Braff has aged out of a roll like this in my opinion as well.
