Eventual Miscasting Tanks The Series.

A unique fusion of Science 101, romantic flirtations, police investigations, and murder mysteries that border on the occult becomes unglued in Season Two by adding silliness to the mix and severe miscasting of a partially new cast. The new leading actress is not right for the part (little chemistry with others) and poorly directed. The producers seem to finally realize the problem by abruptly bringing back the leading actress from Season One (who is excellent) in the final episode of Season Two, but alas, the damage has been done. Score is very good. Some episodes stretch the basic laws of physics. Not especially recommended. WILLIAM FLANIGAN.
