Right, well as I stumbled upon this 2023 comedy titled "Girls' Fright Out", from writer and director Steve Moon, by sheer random chance here in 2025, of course I opted to watch it, since it was a movie that I had neither heard about, nor actually ever seen. I looked up the movie here on IMDb, and saw that it had landed a whopping 1.0 rating, so I have to say that I didn't exactly harbor any expectations to the movie.Granted, this was by no means a phenomenal movie, but it was far from being among the worst of movies I have sat through, so the 1.0 rating is a bit unjust. Writer Steve Moon put together an okay enough script, though you sit with a sense of 'what is the purpose here?' throughout the course of the 76 minutes that the movie ran for. For a comedy, "Girls' Fright Out" was frightfully devoid of anything funny.Needless to say that I was, of course, not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which was actually something that spoke in favor of the movie. The movie has a very small cast ensemble, but I will say that the acting performances were fair.This is hardly a movie that I would recommend you to spend 76 minutes on watching, as it is essentially a pointless movie. And it most definitely is not a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time.My rating of writer and director Steve Moon's 2023 movie "Girls' Fright Out" lands on a three out of ten stars.
