Maybe Americans enjoy this, because it is reality for them. For a normal thinking human, not being from one of the dumbest countries in the world, it is very difficult to watch. Let me not take away anything from the 2 people who are in this lawsuit. I don't know the truth of the story, but they just try to make something out of nothing. Ski accidents happen on a daily basis, which is horrible ofcourse, but why do you always sue in America. That makes it less about the substance of the case and more about money. The people talking about this case also very annoying, all trying to be most exciting for the camera. Seeking there 15 min fame, specially the juror. 'He is smiling in his pictures so he has a happy life..' One of the dumbest things I have ever heard, social media is not a reflection of hoe someone is feeling. Experts with no sensible thing to say. This is my first review ever, but I just got annoyed and want to warn everybody.

DO NOT WATCH
For those particularly interested
A commoner in a trial against a movie star. Who hurt who on the alpine trail. Amount of compensation and questions of liability. Those are the main ingredients of this documentary on HBO. Basically, such documentaries can be entertaining and provide insight. The documentary is thorough in that there is a lot of footage from the trial itself. Interviews with those involved in the case. With the exception of defendants and accusers.
The reason why this does not get a high score from me is that the problem, the case, is too boring. An incident on a ski slope didn't grab me enough to let me get carried away by this one. It is one thing to spend 3 minutes reading about the matter online. Something else to spend over an hour on television to follow all the details. For those who are perhaps even more concerned with celebrities and especially Paltrow, it is certainly "spot on". For others, I think it will all be meaningless in the long run.
