Plot summary

A husband and wife, each harboring a deadly secret, plot to kill one another without realizing they have chosen the same fateful night for their sinister plans. Hell Hath Much Fury

This comedy thriller is so simple, yet so entertaining. It started out very calm and quiet, like everything is okay when actually the storm is brewing deep inside, ready to explode. This dark and twisted comedy has also some plot twists. And even though it's kinda predictable, but it still a bloody good time.

Oddly dark and goofy...

Now, even without ever having heard about this 2023 comedy thriller titled "Hell Hath No Fury", as I stumbled upon it by random chance here in 2025, of course I opted to watch it solely because it was a movie that I hadn't already seen. And I will say that the movie's cover and synopsis certainly was interesting enough to make me stop and take notice.Writer Jacob Leighton Burns put together a script about plans of murdering gone awry. There was something oddly darkly enjoyable about the script and how far out there the storyline was. It is, however, somewhat of an acquired taste, but I found it to be enjoyable for what it was.Of the entire cast ensemble in the movie, I was only familiar with Ben Hall and Jacob Ryan Snovel. The acting performances in the movie were fair.This movie is not one that will appeal to just everyone in the audience. But if you enjoy a dark comedy, then perhaps give "Hell Hath No Fury" a chance.My rating of director Zachary Burns's 2023 movie "Hell Hath No Fury" lands on a five out of ten stars.

A bloody riot

Hell Hath No Fury is such a fun movie, and what a feat for independent filmmakers to accomplish! Every single element was great across the board. A tremendous organ-eriffic score complements great performance and directing choices. Hilarious details like a lewd statue and *conveniently* thematic green lighting adds a lot to the character of the film. Plus, who could ever be mad at a hit-man waxing poetic?The two main characters were a match made in hell and it was a wonderful time watching their relationship play out. It was a really fun watch with friends, and I will tell anybody to support independent cinema like this!
