Plot summary

Five years on from when Joy said goodbye to Ethan and Hong Kong to pursue her dreams in Canada. After fighting for their love to conquer the time, distance and a global shutdown that kept them apart, Joy and Ethan meet again in Canada but realize that they have also changed a lot, individually.

Top Notch Performances from the Leads

This film definitely has its flaws, but there's something undeniably enjoyable about it. The story itself isn't groundbreaking, and it follows a pretty predictable path. Some of the dialogue can be a bit cheesy at times, which may take you out of the moment, but it doesn't detract too much from the overall experience.What really elevates the film is Kathryn's performance. She brings a level of depth and authenticity to her character that makes you forgive the movie's more clichéd moments. Her acting is top-notch, and it's clear that she puts everything into her role. This is what makes the film worth watching, despite its predictable narrative.In the end, while the story may not offer anything particularly new, the acting performance makes it all worthwhile. It's a fun ride, and if you're a fan of both the leads' works, you'll find yourself enjoying it more than you might expect.Overall, it's a solid film of its genre.

It was the star power of Alden and Kathryn that saved this movie

One of the best filipino movies I have ever watched.

Obviously this movie heavily relies on Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo and they definitely delivered. The acting was superb especially on Alden, the story is great for a sequel I wasnt' expecting much but the plot honestly makes sense and not just a cash grab type of film. I'd say the weakest part of this film are the new side characters even some old characters from the first movie are here and they only showed up for like 5 minutes. Overall this is worth the watch as a casual viewer I appreciate this film and actors are phenomenal. This should be the last film and if they even make another one I won't bother to see it. This is the definitive ending.
