Yvonne is the only real redeeming quality of the movie. The kids whine ALOT, and it almost ruins the film. Yvonne, however, is the saving grace. There are some significant gaps in the plot, and it does make the film less enjoyable than it could be. It almost felt like a watered down version of The Strangers.

Yvonne is the best part
Cheap digital slasher
HE'S OUT THERE is another cheap and nasty digital slasher flick with a very limited plotline which gets stretched out endlessly to feature length. The story is nothing more than a woman and a couple of kids in a rural cabin who find themselves menaced by a masked psycho with murder in mind. There's the occasional gory murder to break up the tedium but otherwise this is par for the course, complete with tedious overacting from the main characters and a tired air of predictability to the proceedings.
The sequel will be "He's Still Out There"
I love horror and will give most gore a chance. I love blondie from The Handmaid's Tale so I was eager to see what she could do here. She's definitely good at being dramatic and I felt like she really was in danger for a second. The script was so lackluster and literally went nowhere. I started noticing inconsistencies immediately and they continued throughout. I'm not sure what I just watched, but the very ending was redundant and stupid.
