Plot summary

Determined to provoke real action, New Zealand teenagers join the global School Strike for Climate. But planning a movement and building momentum are the easy parts as they face political indifference, their own white privilege, and the ongoing struggle to be heard. Meanwhile, the tides continue to rise.

A must see

Such an important documentary. Superbly crafted. The courageous young lives we are given insight into, and the honest realities within the story told, make this essential viewing for all.

Student power lifts us all

The anger, despair, and enthusiasm of a group of high school students grabbed my emotions and slapped me in the face. The individual stories of these young people are juxtaposed with the voices of who is immediately feeling the effects of climate change. The film portrays a far bigger unanticipated journey that these passionate kids encountered very very well.

Super Film!

I was blown away by this skillful creation - its honesty, emotional presence and integrity. Highly recommended for an inspiring insight in to student activism in Aotearoa-New Zealand.
