This is the story of friends hijacking a business trip to party in Spain. They land in Barcelona and go to the beach. They then go to a club where the lead "meet cutes" a DJ. There's not much chemistry but we are expected to think there is. They then go to a pretty lame house party where my favorite actor from Sense 8 has a fling with the one girl. There's a lame scene where she runs from a knife wielding lover and gathers her friends. There's possibly some comical moments scripted but it doesn't come together on screen. They then see that the hot DJ is playing in Ibiza. They mispronounce Ibiza. A lot. It gets annoying. They catch a flight and there is an awkward lengthy scene with guys at the back of the plane which ends in shots and party music. They catch a cab and are dropped off in the middle of nowhere to watch a sunset. This doesn't look like Ibiza at all. It's not. But hey, the actors are enjoying it. The audience, not so much. The club scenes are ok. The music is great. She finds her DJ. The end. At least, this is where I should have stopped watching. But I carried on, glued to the screen hoping for a glimpse of something amazing. There was a half decent scene where the fun friend attends the business meeting in Barcelona and steals the limelight for a while. Her performance was damn good. But then the lead takes over and kills the mood. I watched in horror as they returned home, she gets fired and makes her Hollywood exit. It ends horribly, soon after that. I felt betrayed by the plot. I wanted more. I wanted more laughter, more debauchery. More action. More sex. It felt like a documentary with a happy ending.
Plot summary
She could do the responsible thing. Or she could go to Ibiza with her best friends to chase down a hot DJ. Easy choice.

I watched it to the end, expecting the plot to reveal itself
LOVED IT!
I had no actual expectations of the movie whatsoever, but found it laugh out loud funny with a short and sweet story.
The storyline is nothing special, but the writing was good and the whole movie made me wanna go traveling (and party). I loved the cinematography! The whole vibe of the movie left me feeling great, like when walking home late(early) after a summer night of partying.
I get some other reviewers' point, that the movie lacked a developed storyline. But I didn't think that affected the movie badly. It was short and sweet and not too heavy, perfect for summer.
TBH, probably my new favorite movie. Sure, it's not worthy of an Oscar, but it is still really enjoyable.
1 star? Seriously?
Giving only 1 star it means you didn't get anything. Writing down... the worst movie ever, it means you watched only few movies. You're totally out. I'm not saying that the movie is great, but acceptable and it means 5-6 stars. Not bad acting... I would like to act like that. The script is simple, some laughs, nothing really bad as someone described. I don't think I wasted my time, I enjoyed what I watched without expecting any Oscar movie. Sometimes people have expectations, that's the problem... I never have any expectations and I enjoy almost everything. Who cares whether or not Ibiza is pronounced as it should be. If you pay attention to every tiny detail, you won't enjoy anything and your life will be miserable. Smile more and the life will smile you back!
