Plot summary

A Poorly Executed Rom-Com

In Mexico, both Consuelo Duval and Adrián Uribe are talented comedians, and as a duo, they have great comedic chemistry. However, this film falls flat for several reasons.First, the visual effects are extremely poor. It's easy to spot when the director inserts objects that clearly don't belong in the scene, most likely due to overused green screen techniques. Second, the plot is highly predictable: the couple has a problem, and by the end, they solve it. It feels like a patchwork of other romantic comedies, lacking originality.The only element I truly enjoyed was the soundtrack, which is surprisingly impressive. Some jokes do land, but many others fail to generate laughter. The film attempts to explore magical elements, which could have added depth, but several scenes simply don't make sense.I understand that the goal was to entertain, and in some moments it succeeds. But overall, the film feels incomplete and poorly executed, even with a strong cast.

Not good!

"Infelices para siempre" is a romantic comedy that fulfills the romantic part in the last minutes of the film but the comedy part is only present at the beginning, during the middle part of the film it becomes tired and the script is weak, which is not from all original. Consuelo Duval's performance is good. The cinematography is quite incipient, the soundtrack fails to captivate at all and the special effects are lousy, they seem to come out of a cheap television movie from the 2000's. "Infelices para siempre" is a pretty weak production with a couple of funny scenes, but it offers nothing else.
