Genuinely terrible in just about every way a movie can be. Some other reviews talk about an incomplete movie or "waiting for part 2". IMDB's own description refers to a split narrative. The version I watched (on Amazon) was none of those things. I'm assuming "they" edited (shoehorned) in the "blog girl" subplot. All the dialog of the main characters was either out of sync or re-recorded by voice over actors (poorly). The alien-body snatcher premise is what it is. The premise that a late night radio call in show work over time to debunk their caller's alien theories and claims was absurd. Not sure why I watched it to the end. That's it for now... got get a drink of water... I've been weirdly thirsty lately.
Plot summary
A woman, long-fascinated with the idea of extraterrestrial life, stumbles across a worldwide phenomenon of alien communication. Her discovery suggests the imminent threat of a deadly invasion, designed to infect the unsuspecting population of Earth.

Genuinely Terrible
Terrible Acting and No Plot Resolution
So reading other reviews and the summary, I guess there's supposed to be another part to this? But that's not at all implied in the film I saw.
I'm all for independent, low budget movies and this one had an interesting premise but unfortunately it did not deliver. I can handle bad acting if there's a good plot, and crappy plots if there's decent acting. This was bad on both counts.
For the plot, there's never any real explanation as to what is going on but basically it's just Invasion of the Body Snatchers but at a radio station instead of a military base.
The acting though is what made it nearly unwatchable. They seem to subscribe to the school of thought that the only way to show fear is to hyperventilate. Seriously, the last twenty minutes or so are nothing but the main character wandering around breathing like she just hiked Mt. Everest.
The music did not fit the tone of the film, to the point of being distracting. All of this combined to leave me feeling physically aggravated while watching it. Not how I want a movie to make me feel.
Waiting for Part 2
The acting in this movie is good, although it is a bit hard to follow the script. There is a second half to come on this, which should be showcased at the end of this film so that the viewers will know part 2 is coming, but is not. The female lead is compelling and believable. I suspect budget may be the reason that the whole movie has yet to be produced. I think it has potential and hope the second part is made to solve the riddles posed in the first half.
