skirts around the real issues

It's an interesting topic and great to see how people adapt to the problem of how to be sustainable. That's the elephant in the room that this doco never quit says.

It's got musicians sitting on million dollar control rooms saying they need to make a living, but none of them say, it's expensive to make music and w need to pay for this stuff. That would reframe it from "artist wants to get paid for their art" (so greedy, they should do it for the love of it etc), to "artist needs to cover the costs of producing art", part of which is the cost of living (this makes sense, if costs aren't covered then the art stops).

We're left with a push for musicians to be t-shirt sellers and accept the myth of free, to adapt their art to the mass market dollar, and everyone loses with that.
